Setting your thank you page on MailChimp

MailChimp allows you to redirect to a default Thank You page or your own " custom" url after Opt-in from your Squeeze Page template. Follow the steps below.


If you have not integrated MailChimp with your Megaphone template, please click here.
Login to your MailChimp account. From your MailChimp dashboard select "Lists".



Click on the drop-down arrow near " Stats" and select "Signup Forms".



Click on "General Forms" or the "Select" button.



Under "Forms and response emails" select "Signup "thank you" page".



The default option for the page redirect after user opt-in is your website URL you entered when you created your MailChimp account. This is reflected in the "return to our website" button. If, however, you would like to redirect to a "custom" URL, then you'll need to enter the custom URL in the blank field provided and click "Save".



To test the "redirect": In your Megaphone Admin page, under "My Pages", click on "Edit" from your page list.



Copy the template page URL located on the top-right and paste it in the address bar on a different browser (chrome, firefox, safari, ie, etc.) and hit " Enter". See both screenshots below:





Fill in the name and email fields with a test email address and click on the "Access" button. You should be redirected to the specified Thank You page or custom URL page you selected.
